About The Position

To support the daily operations at the Watkins, MN facility under the direction of our Mill Planning Manager. This position will be responsible for overall office administrative and purchasing functions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years work experience in an office or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs is required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's level degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create basic spreadsheets, correspondence, presentations and reports from rough draft.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and office meetings as requested.
  • Answer phones, provide information as needed, and/or route to appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain department records and file systems; prepare and track expense reports.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for managers; reserve meeting rooms.
  • Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
  • Enter data in database systems; maintain currency of information in system.
  • Support operations for the Purchasing process primarily in Ariba and Ariba Buyer Network.
  • Ensure all requisitions are compliant with the company's policies.
  • Ensure the items and prices are accurately listed in the PO.
  • Manage creation of POs; ensure all necessary approvals are documented and the orders are placed and shipments delivered on time.
  • Ensure that all users, approvals, and filters are set up in accordance with LP's procurement policies.
  • Develop and implement on-going training and communication programs with internal customer groups.
  • Work with Mill Manager to support improvements utilizing the Ariba purchasing and supplier business information systems.
  • Coordinate processes with the accounts payable function to facilitate enforcement of the LP's established policies.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
