About The Position

The Office Administrator I at Ranger Energy Services provides essential administrative and clerical support to the Division Manager. This role involves managing financial records, coordinating meetings, and handling various office tasks to ensure efficient operations. The Office Administrator will interact with a diverse range of internal and external contacts, demonstrating independent judgment and organizational skills to prioritize workload effectively.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of general clerical and administrative experience, preferably in the oilfield services industry
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and take ownership of work
  • Knowledge of billing practices and controls
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English; Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily administrative activities to assure efficient operations
  • Orders supplies and equipment as needed
  • Creates Purchase Orders and Delivery Tickets detailing equipment and personnel for customer orders
  • Operates and maintains inventory database systems including HRIS, Payroll, and Workflow Approvals
  • Administers the temporary lodging process for rotational employees, including scheduling and coordinating services
  • Acts as custodian for local documents and records
  • Conducts onboarding processes for new hires in coordination with HR
  • Outlines and explains administrative and payroll procedures to site employees
  • Answers telephones, directs calls, and takes messages
  • Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail
  • Communicates with customers and employees to answer questions and address complaints
  • Performs research using files and records to respond to requests
  • Prepares work schedules, manages calendars, and arranges appointments
  • Participates in special projects as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
