About The Position

The Systems Engineer (Office 365 Cloud Engineer) is responsible for managing and optimizing Office 365 environments and related cloud technologies. This remote role requires participation in an on-call rotation and focuses on overseeing Entra ID, implementing security policies, and managing enterprise applications to ensure secure and efficient access to resources.

Requirements

  • Experience with Intune, MDM, and MAM.
  • Experience with third-party tools like DUO and Umbrella.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of Entra ID, including user and group management, and directory synchronization.
  • Implement and manage Conditional Access policies to ensure secure access to resources.
  • Handle the configuration and management of enterprise applications and app registrations.
  • Manage Azure AD Connect for seamless synchronization between on-premises and cloud directories.
  • Administer Intune for mobile device management (MDM/MAM) and end user device management.
  • Develop and enforce configuration policies for devices and applications.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies through effective policy management.
  • Create and manage application policies to control access and usage.
  • Utilize device tags for efficient device management and policy application.
  • Configure and manage tenant settings to optimize the Office 365 environment.
  • Assign and manage role-based access control (RBAC) roles to ensure appropriate access levels.
  • Develop and manage security policies for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities identified by Rapid 7 for CET servers and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
  • Manage and integrate third-party tools such as DUO and Umbrella.
