About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the operation of the offal equipment and fill levels of the offal trailers. The Offal Handler is responsible for positioning and maintaining the feed augers, cleaning the de-watering screens, and moving and positioning trailers that hold blood, feathers, and condemned product. The Team Member will follow all policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and legality.

Requirements

• Must have a prior employee waiting period of 365 days if previously employed at Tyson.
• Can apply if worked at Tyson no more than three times.
• Must wait 6 months to reapply if had a failed drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operation of the offal equipment.
• Ensure fill levels of the offal trailers are adequate.
• Position and maintain the feed augers.
• Clean the de-watering screens.
• Move and position trailers that hold blood, feathers, and condemned product.
• Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and legality.
