About The Position

Job Title: Offal/Operator Requirements for this position: Should be able to understand and communicate in English, be able to stand for long periods of time, and lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to read and write, Must be able to work with corrosive chemicals and wet and harsh environment. Previous Waste Water Experience a plus. Also, be capable of learning all jobs associated within the Wastewater/Rendering Department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Waste Water Experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect all chemical pumps, meters, and controllers.
• Operate and maintain all equipment in the screening process room daily/weekly.
• Fill and mix chemicals in tanks.
• Make adjustments on equipment as needed to operate the treatment process properly
• Check trailers and tankers for proper load weight.
• Operate tractor-trailer and forklift.
• Maintain daily records of job activities, chemical usage, tanker and trailer rotations.
• Maintain good daily housekeeping and GMP’s
• May be required to perform other job duties assigned by the supervisor
