Off-Shift Director
About The Position
Provides oversight of RN/ LPN/CNA and secretarial staff in the performance of daily duties. Assists in problems solving to help alleviate clinical issues and processes on the assigned unit. Act as the clinical resource person, working as a team with the nurse manager, staff and the provider to identify the plan of care for each patient. Supports nurse manager in developing work plans that enable the unit to reach financial/quality/safety/operational targets. Provide superior customer service by modeling the Brand Promise and Core Values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program required; Bachelors preferred.
- One to three years of nursing experience.
- LT PAC nursing experience preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.
- EDUCATION: AS: Nursing (Required)
- LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Responsibilities
- Oversees & assures short & long term Nursing Dept. staff schedules per established quidelines
- Facilitates units in emergency medical assessment & care of residents including interventions, transportation & other resources needed
- Serves as a clinical resource person to staff in problem solving, assessments, special procedures & clinical skill enhancements
- Coordinates with the Nursing Staff resident units & admissions dept. the rapid admission of residents including obtaining evaluations as indicated
