About The Position
Our Off-Road Vehicle Mechanics perform work under supervision. Type of work expected: Repair and maintenance of off-road vehicles and related automotive equipment under supervision. Assists and takes direction from higher level technicians when needed. Strives to stay active, alert, and have a willingness to learn. Requirements
- Experience in operation of various tools and equipment as required.
- Experience in maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Valid Driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Changes oil, filters, lubricates chassis, and other general preventative maintenance repairs as well as any other required inspections.
- Mounts and dismounts tires on off-road vehicles as well as support equipment
- Operates battery chargers, welding equipment, and machines required for performing repair and maintenance of vehicles.
- Assists higher level technicians when needed.
- Assists in cleaning and organization of the shop.
- Operates a desktop computer to complete work orders and to charge out parts as required.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Employee is responsible for general knowledge of corporate environmental policies and procedures and how they relate to their job functions.
