About The Position

Applicants MUST be a current Baltimore County Police Officer. Provide back up to
the Towson Town Security team on requests for service that come in through the
Command Center or from the Towson Town Security Officers within the mall. The
Towson Town Security team works closely with Baltimore County Officers and
County Command Staff, weekly and throughout the year to assist with crime
prevention and case resolution with incidents occurring on and around the
property. Towson Town Mall is a high-profile retail environment with 180 retail
stores. Towson Town Center is recognized as the “Gateway to Towson” by the
Baltimore County Council. If hired, you are working at the Towson Town Mall
under the contract of Andy Frain Retail Security Services. You are paid weekly
and are an employee of Andy Frain Services, a Fortune 500 company, headquartered
in Chicago. You will be working with the Security Director, Assistant Security
Director and Towson Town Security Officers. as outlined at the retail property
location. ODP’s are required to be in uniform as authorized by Baltimore County.
Towson town Center is authorized to offer employment to Baltimore County Police
Officers through a licensing agreement with the Licensing Division for Baltimore
County Police.

What the Job is About:

Provide security details as outlined. Work with retailers and at the request of
Towson Town Mall Security personnel in the identification of criminal activities
within their stores and those that occur on the property. Visitor, tenant and
customer service focus is a priority by being visible and supporting the
requirements of the security program at Towson Town Center.

The Towson Town Security Department works with local law enforcement departments
across the County as well as other jurisdictions throughout the State of
Maryland on a daily and weekly basis and have received awards and commendations
for their assistance in closing cases.

Must have excellent people skills and communicate with both tenants and visitors
in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirements

• Applicants MUST be a current Baltimore County Police Officer.
• Must be an active member and currently employed in a law enforcement capacity by a certified law enforcement agency within Maryland.
• Must have excellent people skills
• ODP’s are required to be in uniform as authorized by Baltimore County.
