About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the primary technical authority for its Federal partnership. This role involves integrating NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platform with Federal infrastructure to help U.S. Government agencies and Contractors develop "Sovereign AI." The architect will lead the technical strategy for the AI Factory within NVIDIA, ensuring Federal customers, including the DoD, Intelligence Community, and Civilian agencies, can deploy Generative AI at scale. The position requires a blend of architectural expertise, developer advocacy, and strategic advisory skills, moving from deep-code optimizations to C-Suite mission briefings. U.S. Citizenship is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Requirements

  • A BS, MS, or PhD degree or equivalent experience in fields like CS, EE, or Physics is required.
  • More than 10 years of professional experience.
  • At least 7 years must involve technical pre-sales or architecture roles supporting U.S. Federal missions (DoD, IC, or Civilian).
  • Expert knowledge of full-stack data center architecture, including x86/ARM systems, high-performance storage solutions, and low-latency networking (InfiniBand/RDMA).
  • Hands-on experience covering the entire AI lifecycle, including data curation, fine-tuning (LoRA/QLoRA), and large-scale inference orchestration with Kubernetes or Slurm.
  • Outstanding ability to translate complex AI architectures into mission-relevant outcomes for GS-level leadership while maintaining deep technical credibility with engineers and data scientists.
  • A self-starter approach with the proven ability to manage multiple complex, high-visibility projects within a fast-paced and multifaceted OEM partner ecosystem.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience with Dell PowerEdge GPU servers and Dell’s management software (OpenManage, APEX).
  • An active U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI) is highly preferred.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and CUDA, with experience profiling and optimizing code for GPU acceleration.
  • Deep technical background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Cybersecurity, or Autonomous Systems.
  • Experience working with major Defense Contractors (e.g., Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman) to integrate AI into mission platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for Federal accounts and FSIs.
  • Encourage the use of NVIDIA-on-OEM architectures by developing strategic solutions and conducting in-depth technical workshops.
  • Define and optimize the "AI Factory" for Federal use cases, integrating NVIDIA solutions through OEM server, storage, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking into cohesive, high-performance mission solutions.
  • Lead the development of POCs and guide the integration of the NVIDIA software stack, including NIM, NeMo, Dynamo, and TensorRT-LLM, targeting production-grade environments for workloads such as DSP, GEOINT, and Cyber Analytics.
  • Provide the technical expertise needed to navigate complex AI clusters within Federal security frameworks, including FedRAMP, IL5/IL6, and air-gapped (SCIF) environments.
  • Act as a strategic conduit between Federal customers and NVIDIA engineering teams, translating public sector requirements into actionable feedback and influencing future GPU, networking, and software roadmaps.
