About The Position

We are hiring a Sales/Event Manager! The position offers a salary of $43,517. The Sales/Event Manager will provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times, ensuring a successful experience for planners and attendees to garner repeat and referral business. The role involves responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries, managing all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details, and gaining knowledge of the hotel's offerings to ensure event success. The manager will also foster business through proactive and reactive sales efforts, maintain excellent customer service, and document all sales activities in a tracking system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times.
  • Deliver a successful experience for the planner and attendees with the goal of garnering both repeat and referral business.
  • Respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers.
  • Effectively and efficiently monitor and manage all aspects of the pre-event, event, and post-event details.
  • Track, detail, and communicate the particulars of each assigned event and group.
  • Gain knowledge of hotel's food and beverage products, pricing and presentation.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Foster business with proactive and reactive sales efforts.
  • Provide excellent follow-through on details to accounts and hotel departments.
  • Represent the hotel at all industry events with professionalism and character.
  • Meet and exceed all monthly revenue and sales calls goals.
  • Document all sales activities in Delphi or similar sales system.
