About The Position

NVI, LLC, a Louisiana-based nondestructive testing service provider, is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager to lead our Odessa, TX operations. This role is focused on day-to-day execution, field team leadership, and driving utilization across West Texas. The ideal candidate will be based in Odessa or the surrounding areas and bring a strong operational mindset with a focus on accountability, efficiency, and consistent service delivery. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Nondestructive Testing industry
  • Experience with leading, teaching and successfully coaching personnel
  • Project estimating within the nondestructive testing industry
  • Ability to grow a division within the Northeast Region of the U.S.
  • Familiar with meeting ISO 9001 Quality Management programs and OSHAs General Industry Safety regulations

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience as a Level II Nondestructive Testing Technician
  • Operations Management experience with the Nondestructive Testing Industry
  • Track record of divisional growth within the Northeast Region of the U.S.
  • Advance educational degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall performances of the division’s success. This incorporates financial, safety, quality, human resources, marketing and sales department performances and achieving corporate goals, initiatives.
  • Lead the operational performance of the division.
  • Ensure all client projects are completed successfully in which meet NVI’s corporate programs and policies.
  • Participate and manage the “On Call” weekend duty roster for the division.
  • Lead and develop field personnel within the division to meet operational goals, while aligning with company policies and standards.
  • Partner with Human Resources on compensation alignment, including wage structure and adjustments, to support organizational objectives.
  • Support employee career development initiatives in coordination with NVI’s career development programs and business plan.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of employee timecards and payroll-related inputs for the division.
  • Drive performance accountability by supporting and executing established performance management processes.
  • Enforce company disciplinary practices in partnership with Human Resources to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition on recruiting, hiring, and workforce planning to meet operational demands.
  • Review and process client invoicing promptly and ensure corporate accounting programs and processes are being met.
  • Manage and execute corporate initiatives for the security of the organization.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Departments for positive brand recognition and growth.
  • Meet sales initiatives established for the division.
  • Responsible to report department incidents to administrative department leaders and appropriate Operations Management of NVI immediately.
  • Effectively execute any corrective action or improvement plans assigned to the division.
  • Further development zero incident & Stop Work culture within the division.
  • Initiate work plans that have the best interest of the quality of services and safety of our employees.
  • Ensure you and employees abide by the policies of the organization.
  • Deliver solutions that help the organization grow within its mission.
