About The Position

The Emory University Department of Ophthalmology/Emory Eye Center is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our section of Oculoplastics, Orbital and Cosmetic Surgery at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher . The Emory Eye Center and Emory University Hospital provide a stimulating environment with opportunities for collaboration with leading physicians across the full range of ophthalmology subspecialties and other fields. Candidates should be interested in multidisciplinary cases and complex pathology during their time at The Emory Clinic, Emory University Hospital, and Grady Hospital ; interest in pediatric care at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is preferred . Ideal candidates will have completed a post-residency fellowship in Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery and be eligible for membership in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) . Applicants should demonstrate a robust commitment to top-quality patient care , strong clinical judgment , excellent surgical skill , and an interest in teaching residents, medical students, and fellows . NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
