Position Overview As an On-Call Ocular Tissue Recovery Technician , you'll play a vital role in our mission. Your expertise will directly impact lives by recovering corneal tissue for transplant and research purposes. Imagine being the bridge between donors and recipients-the conduit of hope and healing.

Requirements

• Technical Skills : Your experience in tissue recovery sets you apart. You're comfortable handling blood products and using aseptic techniques.
• Empathy : You genuinely care about people.
• Compliance : You adhere to Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA) Medical Standards, and FDA Good Tissue Practices (GTP's).
• In the last 5 years, the candidate must have 0 major moving violations and less than 3 minor moving violations.

Responsibilities

• Precision Recovery : You'll perform technical procedures with surgical precision. Your meticulous approach ensures the highest quality tissue.
• Data Collection : You'll gather essential medical, behavioral, and laboratory data. Your attention to detail ensures quality donor screening.
