The position involves driving financial and operational risk management frameworks, formulating reporting that highlights financial and operational risks, and conducting periodic reviews of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business continuity testing plans. The role requires ensuring that key commercial terms of data center contracts are accurately captured and recorded, overseeing and maintaining a master portfolio capacity model, and implementing adequate controls, including performing periodic data reconciliations against sources of truth. Additionally, the position entails forecasting upcoming lease expiries, assessing supplier exposure, and generating analytics on supplier costs to provide insights for negotiation efforts. Regular reporting and communication with senior leadership are also key components of this role, along with expanding and improving underwriting methodologies and supporting the manager in problem-solving and project needs.

  • Drive financial and operational risk management framework.
  • Formulate weekly/monthly reporting highlighting financial and operational risks.
  • Conduct periodic review of SOPs and business continuity testing plans.
  • Ensure key commercial terms of data center contracts are accurately captured and recorded.
  • Oversee and maintain master portfolio capacity model and ensure adequate controls are implemented.
  • Perform periodic data reconciliations against sources of truth.
  • Forecast upcoming lease expiries and remaining total lease obligations.
  • Assess supplier exposure.
  • Generate analytics on supplier costs and transaction volume.
  • Prepare regular reports and respond to questions from senior leadership.
  • Expand and improve underwriting methodology to provide supplier cost breakdown.
  • Communicate for standard daily business needs, newsletters, and status updates.
  • Provide input and support to manager to unblock on business and project critical needs.
  • Work independently and contribute to wider team efforts and cross-organizational initiatives.
  • Embrace and shift direction with high levels of change.
  • Prior professional experience in finance, accounting or consulting (3+ years).
  • Experience with financial modeling, CFA candidates preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically with data tables, pivot tables, sensitivity analysis, and macros.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills for developing presentation materials under time constraints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with appropriate detail for target audience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or above.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
