As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages, and scooping ice cream from the ice cream cart. This role includes cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, equipment, service and seating areas. The Barista will also describe menu items and suggest products to customers, while producing quality products that exceeds the guest's expectations, hotel luxury standards, and is delivered in a friendly and professional manner. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa. We have a part-time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. This role is designated for our onsite coffee shop, Oceana.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Food handling certificate.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
- Ability to provide legible communication.
