About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated Class A CDL drivers for local routes in the Dallas TX and Sulphur Springs TX areas. Drivers will be home daily and have the option of AM and PM shifts. The position involves operating a dry van and performing drop and hook activities. NFI offers a supportive environment with local on-site management and dispatch, as well as 24/7 driver support. The average age of the tractors is less than 2.5 years, equipped with collision mitigation systems and navigation technology.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
• Use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
• Report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during and after route
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
• Perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
