Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in marketing, business administration, economics.
  • Significant experience with ocean freight forwarding.
  • Knowledge of CargoWise 1.
  • Familiarity with Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) regulations for both import and export shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Assistant General Manager to provide feedback to global project management team developing CargoWise 1 (CW1).
  • Communicate the needs of countries in the Americas Region (US, Mexico, Canada, Brazil) to project management team.
  • Analyze system developments to ensure NX meets regulatory requirements for ocean shipping.
  • Assist with CW1 implementation and training.
  • Attend CW1 development workshops, actively participate in the workshops providing feedback for the Americas region and report results to Ocean Cargo Division.
