About The Position
Health Services of Northern New York is looking for a Per Diem Occupational Therapist. The qualified candidate will perform initial assessments, create and implement a therapy plan to develop or regain function or adjust to a disability. The role involves promoting maximum independence of clients with a customized therapy plan in the clients’ home setting. Progress will be evaluated routinely and adjustments to the therapy plan will be implemented as necessary. The applicant must have good organizational skills, demonstrate an understanding of customer service when dealing with patients, family members, and other staff, and be able to work effectively with the care team.
