About The Position

Join The Arc of the Ozarks as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with varying diagnoses or disabilities. As an OT, you will work directly with clients and families to provide individualized therapy services that foster confidence and quality of life. Whether in a clinic or school-based, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver meaningful, evidence-based interventions that drive real progress. Positions starting at $30.00 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus are available. Experience-based wages are offered for those whose background exceeds the position's requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Active Missouri Occupational Therapy License in good standing (MO Board of Healing Arts).
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull items as needed.
  • Licensed and insured driver with a vehicle available for work-related travel.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer age-appropriate screenings and assessments to develop individualized therapy goals and objectives.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions for sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, feeding disorders, play skills, self-help skills, visual perception, handwriting, behavioral and emotional regulation, and activities of daily living.
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective, personalized treatment plans.
  • Make recommendations and train for the use of adaptive or specialized equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay updated on the latest therapy practices.
