About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team in Ashland, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Position Summary The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans designed to help patients develop, restore, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and functional independence.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Missouri
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care as outlined in the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing therapeutic activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being
- Accurately document patient progress and communicate updates with the therapy team
- Support the interdisciplinary team by contributing to patient care planning and education
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for patients and colleagues
