Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to join our Behavioral Health team! The Occupational Therapy Assistant works directly with one Occupational Therapist to cover all settings to carry out treatment plan of patient care. This is an In-Patient position to include acute hospital, swing bed, and SNF settings with a wide variety of diagnoses and patient positions. HOURS: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period. Monday - Friday day shift.

Requirements

Knowledge of occupational therapy standards and practices normally acquired through graduation of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current Wisconsin and/or Michigan licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
