About The Position

Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for children and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy, as well as augmentative and alternative communication. Clinic-Based Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Make a Lasting Impact on Kids’ Lives! Join our brand-new clinic and help children grow, gain independence, and thrive! We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric COTA to provide in-clinic therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You’ll support children in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living skills, and functional independence—working in a collaborative environment with a brand-new pediatric therapy gym designed to support high-quality care. After-School Shift: 3 PM- 7:30 PM

Requirements

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of practice
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Pediatric experience preferred (clinical rotations or prior pediatric setting experience welcome)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow and implement OT-developed treatment plans
  • Comfort working in a clinic-based pediatric setting
  • Commitment to providing family-centered, high-quality care

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services in the clinic under the supervision of a licensed OT
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans to support each child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional development
  • Use the pediatric therapy gym and clinic equipment to promote skill development and functional progress
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising OT
  • Assist with recommending adaptive equipment and support families with carryover into daily routines
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation, including daily notes and progress updates
  • Collaborate with OTs, parents, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to reinforce therapy goals
