About The Position
Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant - St. Peter's Hospital St. Peter's Hospital has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant responsible to collaborate with our Occupational Therapists to manage a caseload of patients requiring occupational therapy in an inpatient setting. Requirements
- NYS OTA Licensure
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Strong ability to assess priorities
- High level of interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, and coworkers
- Excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Promotes/provides occupational therapy services to patients at the hospital to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning.
- Evaluates and treats individuals with functional deficits secondary to neurologic, orthopedic and medical conditions.
