Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant License
Responsibilities
- Treat patients according to the Occupational Therapist’s directives and physician treatment plans.
- Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per OT Board requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress and care plans.
- Assist the nursing department by training Restorative Aides and instructing patient families or staff on maintenance programs and caregiver training.
- Participate in discharge planning as needed.
- Report any issues with department equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene in the treatment area.
