Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Ware, MA | $37–$40 per visit | Flexible Schedule | Must have 1 year Clinical Experience USA Today Top Workplaces Winner 2024 & 2025 — still no bribes were involved (unless caffeine, snacks, and mutual respect count). At Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS), we’re clinician-owned, which means the people running the show actually understand what it’s like in the field. No micromanaging. We’re growing (on purpose), and we’re looking for a Per Diem COTA in the Ware residential area of MA who wants meaningful work without burning out.
Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), licensed in Massachusetts
- 1+ year of clinical experience
- A great communicator who values teamwork and can tolerate a bad joke
- Comfortable working independently, without feeling stranded
- EMR experience preferred (ours won’t emotionally damage you)
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is a plus — but we’ll happily train the right person
Responsibilities
- Providing in-home OT treatments under the guidance of a licensed OT (no trust falls, we promise)
- Tracking progress, adapting plans, and helping patients crush everyday goals.
- Teaching patients and caregivers how to safely do the things that matter — from getting dressed to conquering the microwave.
- Documenting clearly and efficiently in a user-friendly EMR that won’t ruin your night.
- Delivering care that’s hands-on, heart-forward, and never boring.
