The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to patients of all ages who have deficits in sensory motor, cognitive, or psychological performance areas. The OTA is responsible for documenting therapy appropriately and ensuring that documentation is countersigned by the OTR when necessary. Additionally, the OTA will contribute to the supervision of subordinates, including aides and students, and participate in departmental duties and projects.
