Occupational Therapist Assistant (OT or OTA) Instructor (Part-Time)

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
- A current, unrestricted license or credential to practice as an OT or OTA in the state of Colorado.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional clinical experience in occupational therapy.
- Proven expertise in your subject area and a demonstrated commitment to student success.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear instruction and feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and deliver engaging daily lesson plans, lectures, and hands-on lab demonstrations that align with program objectives and accreditation standards.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure student comprehension.
- Actively monitor student academic performance and attendance, providing proactive intervention and support to foster success.
- Serve as an academic advisor and mentor, guiding students through their OTA curriculum and supporting their professional development.
- Evaluate student progress through assignments, practical skills assessments, and examinations, maintaining accurate academic records.
- Contribute to the growth and quality of the OTA program by assisting with curriculum development, externship coordination, and participation in campus committees and events.
