About The Position

The main purpose of this position is to provide quality occupational therapy services to include screening, reassessment, treatment planning and implementation as requested by the interdisciplinary team and assigned by the Lead Occupational Therapist. Services provided will focus on maintaining the health and safety of the individuals with developmental disabilities residing at MDH - Holly Center, as well as promoting daily life activities by the individual at their maximum level of independence.

Requirements

Determined by the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice under the licensing requirements for Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from the Maryland State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, Spring Grove Hospital Center, 55 Wade Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228.
Employees in this classification may be required to successfully complete cardiopulmonary resuscitation training and maintain current certification.
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of an automobile. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
