About The Position

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, under the general supervision of an Occupational Therapist, assists in administering the Occupational Therapists' treatment plan. Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• State license as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and NBCOT registration.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid Driver's license and Insurance (Home Care only).
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Analytical ability to identify and report changes in patient's condition.
• Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information accurately.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in hospital or Home Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering the Occupational Therapists' treatment plan under supervision.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members.
• Identify and report changes in patient's condition to an Occupational Therapist.
