Requirements

• Current Massachusetts COTA license in good standing (required)
• 1 year experience in a rehab, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting (required)
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and daily living skills.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and care team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
