About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing home health team . This position offers a flexible schedule and competitive pay per visit , allowing you to provide quality patient care while maintaining work-life balance. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapeutic services to patients in their homes, helping them improve independence with daily activities and overall functional ability.

Requirements

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Michigan
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, coordination, and independence with daily activities
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising OT
• Document patient visits and progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising OT and clinical team
• Maintain compliance with all home health regulations and agency policies
