About The Position

Will work as part of an inpatient rehab team on diagnosis specific units. Performs initial evaluation and treatment of patients; Responsible to provide patient care for inpatient as well as outpatient coverage if the need arises; Assist Lead Therapist with mentoring and or orientation of new or newly rotated staff; participate in OT student programming; other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in New York State.
• Must pass competencies for this position

• familiarity with outpatient regulations
• documentation requirements
• Experience working with a team and strong ability to monitor therapy progress and create home carryover programs.
