About The Position

Pediatric occupational therapist position working with a dynamic multidisciplinary team, in outpatient and inpatient settings. With experience, opportunities may be available in specialty areas, including NICU. Seeking a team-player with excellent communication skills, strong evidence-based practice, caring attitude towards all patients and their families, and effective time management / organization skills.

Requirements

Graduate of AOTA accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists required.
Must have current Alabama license.
Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period.
Experience in pediatric setting preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluations, re-evaluations and ongoing direct patient care with children from birth to 18 years
Management of a highly diverse caseload
Coordination of care with other providers
