About The Position

Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based | Full-Time (4 Days) | Hanover, NH | 26-27 SY Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric occupational therapy services to students in Hanover, New Hampshire. This is a full-time (4 days/week) position in a collaborative school / special education setting. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students
  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
  • Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
  • Support students with: Fine motor skills and handwriting
  • Sensory processing and sensory integration
  • Executive functioning and organization
  • Activities of daily living (ADLs) and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and physical therapists (PTs)
  • Recommend and implement classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
