Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active Occupational Therapy license (OT/L) in Texas
  • One year experience in Allied Health Services preferred
  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality in everything you do

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience in Allied Health Services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support each child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Provide direct therapy services in home settings, promoting skill carryover across environments
  • Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to ensure meaningful outcomes for each child
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and train families on proper use and integration into daily routines
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports
  • Collaborate closely with parents and caregivers to reinforce therapy goals and strategies at home
  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic care
