We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to support students at TERI’s Learning Academy and Country School, helping ensure the students we serve experience greater independence, regulation, and success in their educational journey. Services are delivered primarily onsite, with limited hybrid flexibility for IEP meetings Why Join TERI? Small Group, High-Quality Services – Deliver meaningful, individualized OT services in push-in and pull-out models, including small groups of no more than three students at a time. Projected Schedule: Approximately 25 hours per week Primarily onsite with limited hybrid flexibility

Requirements

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L) required
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy (MOT or related field)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in special education, autism, or developmental disability settings
  • Successful completion of required background clearances

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to individuals and small groups in accordance with each student’s IEP
  • Observe, screen, and evaluate students with sensory-motor or physical needs to determine current levels of performance and appropriate service recommendations
  • Develop and implement direct, indirect, and consultative occupational therapy services based on assessment results and established IEP goals
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings; collaborate with districts, families, and school staff to develop, modify, and report on student goals and progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to ensure consistency and effectiveness in therapy design and delivery
  • Collect and analyze ongoing data to monitor progress and ensure OT goals are integrated into classroom routines
  • Adhere to all established laws, regulations, and school policies; participate in staff development, trainings, and assigned in-services
  • Protect the welfare, dignity, and best interests of the individuals we support at all times
