About The Position
This position is for an Occupational Therapist in the Occupational Therapy Department at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL 60622. The schedule is a day shift, Monday-Friday, with rotating holidays and weekends as per business needs. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for qualified full-time candidates, with eligibility and payout terms discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
Nice To Haves
- National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with department and Hospital Policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519.
- Functions according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
