About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join a 523-bed acute care hospital serving North Central Florida. This inpatient role supports patients recovering from neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and surgical conditions. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve independence and functional outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
- BLS required within 30 days of hire
- 1+ year experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Vocational School Graduate required
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans
- Document evaluations and progress accurately
- Educate patients and families on safety and ADLs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
