About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our home health care team. In this role, you will provide personalized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them regain independence, improve functionality, and enhance quality of life. Assess clients’ home environments and functional abilities. Develop and implement personalized care plans focused on improving clients’ daily living skills (e.g., dressing, bathing, meal preparation). Recommend and train clients on the use of adaptive equipment or modifications to improve safety and function. Provide rehabilitative exercises or activities to improve mobility, coordination, and strength. Educate family members and caregivers on proper techniques and supportive strategies. Document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory and agency guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from a four-year program is required
  • Successful completion of at least six months of clinical affiliations in specific O.T. Centers is a prerequisite
  • Candidates must be certified by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association or be eligible for certification
  • Upholding strict confidentiality standards for protected information
  • Demonstrating respect towards owners and employees
  • Proficiency in independently solving problems through analytical and logical thinking
  • Competence in using standard office equipment and software

Nice To Haves

  • Ideally, a minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience is preferred
