About The Position

This temporary position is located in Rocky Mount, NC - Nash County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $41.77 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 141 Storage Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Provide eligibility evaluations for children referred to the NC Infant-Toddler Program. Provide OT consults and treatment as needed. Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Requirements

  • Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of North Carolina.
  • Must have a foundational knowledge of occupational therapy.
  • Foundational knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment of persons who have physical and cognitive challenges.
  • Possess effective written communication, oral communication, computer, and organizational skills for documentation and case management purposes.
  • Possess effective interpersonal skills to work within the interdisciplinary team process and be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, care providers and students.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
