About The Position

We are a private outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic located in Sandwich and Hyannis, MA, committed to delivering high-quality care and personalized treatment to our patients. We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced professional-with a preference for certification in hand therapy or a strong interest in pursuing this certification-we offer a supportive environment where you can grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. As an Occupational Therapist in our clinic, you will work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that help them recover from injury, surgery, or chronic pain. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, providing hands-on treatment, and educating patients on self-management techniques.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
MA Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Passion for patient care and improving quality of life

Nice To Haves

Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred, or an interest to pursuing certification.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to, upper extremity injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and hand therapy.
Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitation interventions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records
