As an Occupational Therapist you will be is responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. In this position you will utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Our Outpatient Rehabilitation department supports patients of Penrose Hospital and St Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs. Through Occupational, Physical and Speech therapy we provide comprehensive rehabilitation services for orthopedics, neurological, vestibular, swallowing, cancer, & Parkinson's, along with a concussion program, and a vison program. Significantly higher than any other rehab within the CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we have a very large oncology, neurology, geriatric, and lymphedema population. Our team has a culture of collaboration that prioritizes patient success. With a breathtaking atmosphere, innovative culture, supportive environment, and access to some of the state's best recreational activities, working at our rehab offers a fulfilling work-life balance. This is a fully benefited lymphedema OT role. The schedule will be Monday to Friday.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
  • Current Colorado state licensure in occupational therapy upon hire or within 3 months required
  • You must be CLT

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • LANA (Preferred)
