About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist for NOMS Healthcare, you are responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.

• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Licensed in the State of Ohio

Responsibilities

• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Administer treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
• Ensure that any changes in patient status are documented accurately and on a timely basis.
• Participate in operational aspects of the department maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in all Quality Assurance activities.
• Coordinate delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff (COTA, Rehab Techs).
• Provide input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.
• Participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
