About The Position

Join a friendly and collaborative team, working along side multiple employees to provide superior patient care in an SNF setting. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with other specialty teams including neurological, geriatrics, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports therapy, women’s health, vestibular/balance, oncology, and low vision. Position Summary: A Staff Occupational Therapist is a registered therapist who, under general supervision, is responsible for therapeutic management of a specific caseload of patients from admission through discharge via evaluation, treatment planning and implementation.

Requirements

  • Current OT license in state of Florida.
  • Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification required.
  • Experience preferred, will consider a new grad.
  • Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to prescribe, fit, and fabricate orthoses as needed preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs
  • Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses
  • Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment
  • Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing
  • Promote evidence based patient care
