Connect Pediatrics is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team in the Denver, Colorado area. In this role, you will play a vital part in collaboratively ensuring that pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Requirements

  • A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas
  • Current BLS License
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
  • Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
  • Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses.
  • Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
  • Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
