About The Position

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities. Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients. To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player. Meets or exceeds the productivity standard on an individual basis. Meets or exceeds the productivity standard at the department level. Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely. Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development. Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval. Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management (General, ICU, FIM, DBS, Lung Transplant, Behavior management, MBS, FEES, etc). #AZEVREHAB

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting, upon hire
  • Occupational Therapist: AZ, upon hire
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Masters Other, upon hire
  • Doctorate Of Science in appropriate clinical area, upon hire
  • 2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care
