The Children’s Services of ACLD provides a continuum of services to children from ages three to twenty-one in their pre-school and after-school programs. We currently have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist
to join our Bay Shore Facility. In this role, your responsibility will include but not be limited to providing occupational therapy services to children in a transdisciplinary environment.
Therapy focuses on assisting child in maximizing their level of function in their play skills and Adaptive Daily Living skills.
Specific performances areas such as sensory, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual and cognitive functioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current Occupational Therapy Licensure from New York State Education Department
• Must be physically able to handle all aspects of the position including running, bending and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Experience with pediatrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual preferred.
