About The Position
As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play a key role in helping patients regain the skills they need for daily life and work. You'll work with individuals who are recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions, providing them with personalized therapy to help them achieve greater independence and improve quality of life.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in NJ.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and mental health, and develop customized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve fine motor skills, strength, and coordination.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence and functionality.
- Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
