About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist - Outpatient, Inpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Cordova, AK 99574. Contract Details Day, M-F 8am-5pm Start Date: 5/12/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Cordova, AK 99574 Hourly Pay: $ 54.50 Non-taxed Stipend: $1,246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $3,016.00 EMR Used: CPSI/Evident Traveler Policy: Client provides housing. NO pets allowed in provided housing. Client will arrange travel if needed. OT position working in an outpatient setting as well as with swing bed and acute inpatients in a small, critical access hospital. This short assignment is to cover for PTO. Possibility of future coverage for the same reason. Great opportunity to experience a beautiful place in Alaska in early summer! Key Responsibilities: Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan Giving advice and providing support for family members and carers Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • Must have at least2 years of OT experience
  • Must have ASHA, CHT and/or ACP Training
  • Must have a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Must have an AK license.
  • BLS required.
  • Problem-solve and use critical thinking skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments.
  • Willingness to ask for help when encountering a new or challenging situation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
