About The Position

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. For more than 40 years, they have developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries, including treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries. The company is seeking a PRN (as-needed) Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered care in their program in Riverton, UT. Therapists are encouraged to be creative in their approach, incorporating a variety of activities to ignite interest while addressing functional goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to achieve durable outcomes.

Requirements

Completion of Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
State licensure
Excellent planning, organization, writing and time management skills
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers

Nice To Haves

Professional certification/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience in the treatment of neurologically related disorders

Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of impairments including upper extremity function, ADLs and IADLs, visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, assistive technology needs.
